Designed for advanced riders seeking the most acceleration and pumping, the Turbo Flare stabilizer line furthers the pursuit of ultimate efficiency. The high camber profile and aspect ratio of 11 provides a perfect balance between lift, stability, and maneuverability. The 24cm fuselage length offers exceptional pitch response for sharper turns and effective wave transfers. As a result of the shorter fuselage length, the angle of attack was increased to counteract the loss of lift without impeding on maneuverability.

Slingshot One-Lock Flare Tail features

• • One-Lock™ Latch – Our front wings come with a preinstalled One-Lock™ latch to secure the front and rear wings inside the collar on the bottom of the mast. Each wing includes an additional replacement OneLock™ latch.
  • Monobloc Stabilizer Design: Molded rear fuselage integration minimizes drag, with a Carbon arc Layup which enhances the stabilizers responsiveness.
  • Fillets: included to increase overall strength. These fillets also help in minimizing drag, which results in a more efficient performance.
  • High Camber Profile: Shorter fuselage length and reduced surface area to improve maneuverability in the pitch axis, lift typically decreases. To counter this, the new high camber profile restores lift, keeping the center of balance consistent with our other stabilizers. This ensures riders wont need to make significant adjustments to their foil position on the board.
  • High-Modulus Carbon Construction: Strategically layered carbon delivers maximum stiffness along the span and prevents wing twist for precise performance.
  • Flat Anhedral-Dihedral Curve: The yaw axis is unlocked with a flatter design to enhance carving ability. This reduces drag during the turns, resulting in a more responsive ride and smoother transitions.
  • Hand Finished: All of our front wings are hand-finished to precisely tune the flow of water off the trailing edge and tips. This meticulous process results in a more efficient foil and a smoother ride on the water.
