Cameron Rein is the founder and brainchild of Watersports Warehouse. He has over 30 years of tournament waterskiing experience, was the youngest tournament waterskier in the country and has up grown in a highly competitive waterski orientated family. Representing South Africa internationally on numerous occasions in tournament waterskiing, been a highly competitive wakeboarder, travelled and competed on the South African Wakeboard Tour for several years.
Cameron began kitesurfing / kiteboarding in 2002 as the sport begun in South Africa, he worked and managed Ocean2Air Kitesurfing, a highly successful kitesurfing shop in Durban, South Africa, and still has tied roots as being Watersports Warehouse sister shop in all things kiteboarding.
Now based in Sunset Beach, Cape Town, South Africa, Cameron Rein has placed Watersports Warehouse in the pinnacle of the world’s kitesurfing Mecca. He personally tests the shops latest product offerings on a daily basis, whilst having loads of fun of cos :-).
Kitesurfing
With 20 years experience in kitesurfing, we bring you the widest range of kitesurfing gear imaginable. Kitesurfing is a massive passion of ours and we kitesurf and test our products on a daily basis in the best conditions in the world right at our doorstep.
We are the largest stockist of both Mystic kiteboarding accessories and F-One Kites, Twin tips, directional Kiteboards and foils. We also stock Ride Engine Waist Harnesses, Manera Wetsuits and Harnesses and Glidesoul Waterwear.
We can also provide rental kitesurfing equipment for hire. This includes kites, boards, harnesses and wetsuits, plus we can provide SUP’s and Wakeboards for those no wind days.
