Connelly ONO 5ft Wakesurfer features
Construction and Materials
- Epoxy Construction – Surfboard shapers have been using this construction method for ages. It produces the extremely light, buoyant, responsive board that surfers love to ride. This type of construction allows for nearly any shape you can think up. The possibilities are endless.
- 1-Piece EPS Foam Stringer-Less Core
- Tip-to-Tail Woven Hybrid Glass and Carbon Tape
- Innegra / Polyester Triax
- Shape: Surf Style – Surf styles use a multitude of rail shapes, board outlines, and fin setups to accommodate different riding styles and skill levels. There’s more than one way to ride a wave and Connelly recommends trying them all.
- Round Tail – The all-around performance shape. Water is able to wrap around the curve of the tail increasing traction, and the larger surface area keeps the board high on the water for maneuverability.
- Base: Concave Base with Center Channel
- Fins: Quad Fin – The need-for-speed fins setup. Two front fins are accompanied by two smaller rear fins. Both sets are flat foil, which allows for water to pass through the centerline without resistance while the curved outer surface creates lift and hold into the face of the wave.
Quad Futures Fins – 2 – 3.7″ / 2 – 2.1″
