Description
The QUEST introduces a new Double Dynamic Bridle System that makes the pocket wing feel more direct, easier to handle, and that minimizes the risk of tangling. It also delivers smooth, intuitive power control with precise feedback through the bar.
F-One Quest Pocket Wing features:
- Accessible, comfortable, and intuitive: excellent depower, increased control and stability, and smoothness even in difficult conditions.
- Easy stashing and compact size: softer canopy and shorter lines for easy stashing and reduced volume when folded.
- New Double Dynamic Bridle System: for ultra-precise bar feedback and intuitive power management. The innovative Double Dynamic Bridle System allows the removal of the B-connector on the bar without adding any yoke, pulley, or complex bridle layout, resulting in a system that’s as clean and simple as it is effective. The reduced complexity minimizes any risk of tangling while delivering precise feedback and intuitive power control.
- Reduced connection points in A/C: the bridles are connected at only two points on the ends of the bar, without a central “B” line. This offers total freedom of hand position on the bar and reduces potential tangles.
- Pack Assist: a new bridle architecture drastically reduces the tension of the bridles during the packing phase. Packing is faster, more efficient, and more comfortable. The Pack Assist system uses a set of front bridles that immediately reduces the wing’s power. Simply slide your hand a few centimeters along the white spliced bridles, and the QUEST instantly becomes neutral.
- New vertical bar: a more ergonomic design for better grip and maximum depower. The QUEST features a new vertical carbon bar design with a molded piece and added length at the front. This design improves grip and comfort, especially near the front bridles, while providing a true support point that is particularly effective in high winds.
- D-Ribs: Like the Frigate, the Quest is equipped with D-ribs. Derived from paragliding, these allow for a better definition of the profile and a reduction in the number of bridles. This technology reinforces the sail’s structure and ensures better stability; the pocket wing is faster, stiffer, and performs better upwind.
- Freedom to wander about: designed for those who prioritize comfort and downwind performance over speed and ultimate upwind performance.
