The Western Seaboard of Cape Town represents to kitesurfers what Hawaii is to surfers. Its a pilgrimage destination. Both a proving ground for riders and a testing place for equipment. It is here that the South Easter Brand was born.
Both consciously and sub-consciously, the prevailing summer southeaster wind shapes the daily lives of those fortunate to call Cape Town home and the magnitude of wind pilgrims which it attracts between November and March.
When the proverbial table cloth cloaks the iconic Table Mountain, it is here that our kites come into their own.
